Therapeutic Services Offered

Individual Therapy

Ultimately working your way towards a life full of inner peace and fulfillment. Identifying personal goals, the challenges that get in the way, and finding ways of overcoming them.

___________

Mindfulness

To be Mindful is to be purposefully paying attention to the present moment, without judgment and without attachment. Mindfulness is heavily researched as an evidence based practice that grounds us and opens up opportunities. Increasing our mindfulness skills is an important foundation for any work we do in therapy.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Our emotions and thought can be quite intense sometimes. By being able to understand them and skillfully work with our emotions, rather than against them, we can achieve a more peaceful and happier life. DBT is an evidence based approach in observing our experiences, finding what gets in the way of our goals, and working to make changes in our day to day lives so that we can ultimately work our way into living a life worth living.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)

Thoughts run through our heads constantly throughout the day and can lead to effecting our behaviors and experiences. CBT is a very well known and researched approach that targets this problematic cycle. Learn how to be more mindful about your thinking and how it impacts your life. You are not your unwanted thoughts. Let’s work together to help you change them.

Prolonged Exposure
(PE) Trauma Work

Trauma comes in many shapes and forms. When having experienced trauma, the negative effects don’t have to be forever lasting. PE is one form of trauma work that could alleviate one’s suffering. Nobody needs to suffer through life, living with trauma.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
(EMDR) Trauma Work

EMDR is also an evidence based treatment for healing trauma that provides tools for reprocessing your experience. Turning an emotionally and physically triggering memory into a neutral memory of the past.

Integrative Therapeutic Approach

Each client is unique and their needs may not best benefit with a singular therapeutic modality, and so the approach in therapy may need to adjust as things progress. By incorporating an Integrative Therapeutic approach in your session, we can better aim for effectiveness toward your goals.
